Web Designer/Developer Hybrid

Jobylon is seeking a new Web Designer/Developer Hybrid. This hybrid professional must have exceptional HTML, CSS and Graphics Design skills to help us implement our vision and create content to our web sites. The candidate, as part of our development team, will work with our sales and marketing team to design, develop and maintain compelling online content, email newsletters and rich-internet user experiences. The work will include design and development of new site features, new employer profiles, banner ads and general site wide adjustments.

Things we’re looking for:

• Love for elegant and modern CSS (raw or though a preprocessors like LESS or SASS)
• Eager to code cross media HTML5/CSS applications
• We expect you to create some art for us in the form of UI 
• Fluent on PhotoShop/Illustrator/GiMP or similar software
• Understanding of Web 2.0 style designs/sites
• Sound understanding of cross-browser design issues, CSS/Web standards and workarounds for browser compatibility
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and, excellent written and oral communication skills
• A self-starter with a proven ability to solve problems, work quickly, independently and with small teams - in a fast paced environment

Preferred Pluses:

• Knowledge/experience with Search Engine Optimization standards and procedures
