Senior Accountant

For our client we are now searching for a Senior Accountant. In this position you will be located in the company’s head office in central Stockholm and you will report directly to the Group Accounting Manager. As a person you should thrive in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment. In this position you will take an active role in continuing the work of establishing a world-class finance function.
 
Your mission should we choose to accept you:

• Overall responsibility for some of the legal entities within the Spotify Group
• Responsible for local statutory accounting and relating issues
• Work with and responsible for your legal entities in monthly-, quarterly- and year-end closings
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, knowledge of  IFRS is a merit.
• Reconciliations of the balance sheet and intercompany transactions
• Maintain contact with local service providers
• Assist the Group Accounting Manager in ad-hoc reporting or accounting issues

What you need to get an audtion:

• University degree or equivalent within Finance/Accounting/Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within an accounting department
• Experience from high-volume or transaction oriented businesses is meriting, preferably from an international and large scale organization
• Driven, structured and proactive personality, with ability to initiate and drive changes and improvements
• Experience from major ERP systems, preferably Navision
• Fluent English language skills are essential
